Pousada Tropicana is located in the
very heart of Vila Abraão.
Its restaurant faces the beach and opens from 6 to 11 p.m. The
rustic wood bar plays good Brazilian pop music.
Our menu suggests varied seafood-based dishes, as well as mixed
salads and meat. The filet mignon medallion with gorgonzola sauce is
our star dish.
Besides, the daily rate at Tropicana also includes a complete
breakfast, so that you stock enough energy to be able to enjoy the
long walks and diving expeditions.

The French Gérard, who owns the
pousada, arrived on Ilha Grande in 1983, when the prison was still
erected. Tourism almost inexisted then, the locals lived from the
penitentiary. His hostel opened in 1989 and was among the first ones
on the Ilha.
Five years after the implosion of the prison, a new phase in the
island history is beginning, boosted by the growth of ecotourism.
Tropicana offers you the comfort of air conditioned suites with TV,
minibar and a unique breakfast, to be taken watching the seashore. |

IMPORTANT - To guarantee
your reservation, a deposit of 50% of your total daily
rates/package is necessary. Therefore, fax or e-mail us the
payment receipt as soon as you have credited. WE'LL LET YOU
KNOW THAT YOUR RESERVATION IS CONFIRMED!
A daily stay at our hostel ends at 10 a.m.
In case of cancellation by our guests, here is the procedure:

up to 07 days
before arrival, refund of 10% the deposited amount ;

72h before
arrival, refund of 50% of the deposited amount ;
-
24h before
arrival, no refund.
Should you
cancel as you check in or in the course of the first night,
there will be no refund. In case of a PACKAGE, if you leave
before planned, the remaining amount should be paid entirely.
